The State of Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) opened a new 12,000 square foot facility in Merrillville, Indiana near the intersection of U.S. Highway 30 and Broadway. This is the second-largest BMV location in Indiana and is considered a super branch as it houses a Branch and Connect Center along with other departments housed under the same roof, enhancing services for residents and businesses in the region.
Located at 7905 Broadway, Merrillville, Indiana 46410, the branch opened in December 2024 to meet the increasing demand for vehicle and licensing services. It features 20 customer service stations and allows customers to complete transactions 24/7. The Merrillville branch is also the first included under one roof the dealer fleet services at the new location in Northwest Indiana, providing a dedicated space for dealers and fleet customers to process transactions efficiently.
